Bush Kicks Off Driving Season by Suspending Environmental Standards on Gas

What a great way to kick off the driving season:
AMERICAblog: Because a great nation deserves the truth
Bonanzas for the oil industry all around. They get outrageous profits and, thanks to their President, a big break on environmental controls:
President Bush on Tuesday ordered a temporary suspension of environmental rules for gasoline, making it easier for refiners to meet demand and possibly dampen prices at the pump.

What good are environmental regulations if you don't enforce them when they're most needed?

What's next? Suspending enforcement of votiing regulations on election day to make it easier to meet demand? WTF!
